Medical Safety in the Dental Surgery

Your safety and comfort is of the utmost importance to us.

At each visit, we ask you to update your medical history, including any medications or allergies. .

If you feel uncomfortable at any point during your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. This can be as soon as you walk into the surgery, sitting in the dental chair or even as you wait in the reception area.

It may be something as simple as feeling funny because you didn’t have breakfast and are low in sugar (hypoglycaemic). Or it may be that you are experiencing feelings of anxiety. We are here to help, and all of our staff are trained to provide appropriate reassurance and support in a dental environment. Staff also have annual updates in advanced CPR techniques specific to dental situations. At Adelaide DentalCare we have a defibrillator and oxygen onsite at all times.
