Meet our dentists, hygienists and support staff. We are here to make sure that your dental experience is positive and effective.

All of our clinical team members are registered with the appropriate national body.

Our dentists are members of the Australian Dental Association as well as its South AustralianBranch, and are registered with the Dental Board through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They complete 60 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) in each cycle as determined by AHPRA, to ensure their clinical knowledge is up to date. CPD includes lectures in all aspects of dentistry such as prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, oral pathology, restorative dentistry, and children’s dentistry.

Our hygienists are also registered *with who?* and undertake regular professional development activities. Our dental assistants are all qualified with a minimum Cert III in Dental Assisting. For your safety, all our staff participate in Advanced CPR updates annually that are specifically tailored to the issues that may arise in a dental practice.

There is also a defibrillator on the premises at all times.

As per the requirements for health professionals in health settings, all staff are fully vaccinated (and boostered) for Covid-19, and all patients are screened to determine their Covid status and minimise risk.

Dr Oi Kit Berly Lo

Dr Oi Kit Berly Lo obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2014 and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr Lo has been catering to the dental needs of her community for over a decade and has amassed a wealth of knowledge as a result. She is a well trained dentist in Adelaide DentalCare and Royal Park Dental who offers a diversified portfolio of dental solutions pertaining to all aspects of dentistry.

Berly has a high affinity for implant, cosmetic and restorative dental procedures alongside with her skillful approach of gentle extraction. Her philosophy is centered around ensuring the client has a positive and enjoyable visit whilst maintaining a high standard of care. Dr Lo enjoys restoring smiles and changing the lives of her patients.

Dr Katelyn Chen

Dr. Katelyn Chen, a graduate of the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, has gained diverse dental experience through overseas attachments. She specialises in restorative, preventative, and aesthetic dentistry, driven by her passion for providing high-quality care. Her dedication to patient well-being is evident through her volunteer work in Cambodia. With a belief in personalised care, she empowers each patient to achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Chen is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and enjoys pottery and staying active during her free time.

Dr Daphne Lee

Graduated from University of Adelaide with Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr Daphne Lee is a highly motivated dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including providing emergency dental care, preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, as well as prosthodontics. She also has special interests in the field of oral surgery and management of patients with TMJ disorders. Daphne has a gentle, caring attitude and finds great satisfaction in managing anxious patients. She enjoys making dental visit a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all her patients and strives to empower every patient with confidence to achieve and maintain good oral health. In her spare time, Daphne loves spending time with family and friends. She also has an adorable dog that she cares greatly for.

Dr Gregor Hyde

Dr. Greg Hyde graduated from Adelaide University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Hyde believes that each patient deserves a personalised treatment plan. He practices all aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, crown and bridge, restorations, tooth whitening, dentures & implant restoration. Ask him about his grandchildren, vegetables, and the BOM rain radar …so he can keep dry while cycling home.

Dr Jonathan Leach

Dr Jonathan Leach joined Adelaide DentalCare after graduating from Adelaide University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Dr Leach can address all of your dental needs, including tooth whitening, composite or porcelain veneers and crown and bridge. He is a firm believer that every dental experience should be a comfortable one. If you have time, ask him about hockey, sailboarding, or his coping strategies for living with teenagers!

Yuichiro

Dr Yuichiro Tomo

Dr Tomo, or Yui, as he is affectionately known to staff and patients alike, joined our team in July 2014 and has quickly become a much loved and valuable part of Adelaide DentalCare. Dr Tomo is interested in all general dentistry including tooth whitening, composite or porcelain veneers, oral surgery, implants and crown and bridge. Ask Yui about AFL, motorbikes and skiing.

Dental Hygienists

Our hygienists are trained in the prevention of tooth decay by using fluoride applications, oral hygiene techniques and dietary modifications. They are passionate about educating patients on ways to improve their oral health.

They play an important role in assisting our patients to achieve good dental health and preventing dental diseases, in particular periodontitis and gingivitis. There are links between periodontitis to many other diseases so it is especially important to keep your mouth clean and reduce the risks.

They are registered with AHPRA and the Dental Hygiene Association of Australia and regularly attend professional development lectures and courses to add to their skills. They are also licenced with the EPA to take x-rays.
